OK, clean and tidy, not a lot of birds today, dog litter about (sh_ _ . A quod bike has made a mess of the grass outside the little cafe ( down to the soil).
Nice winter walk out, lake frozen only small selection free if ice, grandchildren enjoyed the snowball fight and the park.
A nice easy walk around the park. There are picnic tables for nice days. The facilities are quite basic. Play park for kids. You can park here free and go for a long walk to other places

Lovely park with good walkways surrounding the lake and lots of places to sit. I visited on a very wet day in august and still found it very enjoyable even though I was rained on several times. There was a large family of swans resting at the side of the lake who surprisingly were not at all bothered by my very noisy and overexcited dog, and continued with their snooze while I got some lovely close up photos.
