I moved my dog from Vets4pets Durham to here. I have not regretted it. The Vets here show compassion and care for animals, which is paramount to any owner. I really feel after 2 years I have found a vets practice that care.Reception staff are always so accommodating and friendly and always make a fuss of my fur baby! Highly recommend!
I strongly recommend that vet practice. The doctor and nurses are very friendly and efficient. They patently explain and willingly answer the questions we asked them.
Avoid! If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. Massively overcharged, vets just do guess work. Avoid like the plague.Firstly charged 300 for antibiotic treatment on 2 Guinea pigs. A few weeks later, found a lump on my dog. They said it was a hernia and would be fatal If not removed. As my dog is elderly, this wasn't covered. I was. Told the cost of the operation would be & 800. I took my dog to another vet in Chester le Street for a second opinion. As soon as he felt the lump, he said it was just a fatty lump. The reason my dogs appetite was affected was due to 2 rotten teeth! I cannot believe this was missed. I would've paid several hundreds of pounds for an operation which was completely Misdiagnosed.After having the lump removed (which was a fatty lump) and 2 teeth, this was 600 cheaper than I was quoted here. Unless you want ripping off avoid like the plague
I was seen on time of my appointment which is great. The nurses and vets are great with my 2 cats and dog. I get great advice and they really enjoy my animals as they are really well behaved and trained. I would recommend this practice.
Absolutely amazing vets. They clearly care about my dogs and I trust them to give first class treatment to my dogs. Everyone there is lovely from the reception staff to the nurses and the vets.
